Community Leader: Gloria Ruiz

Gloria, Director of Community Affairs for the New Mexico Oil and Gas Association, speaks to the variety of ways that community and education can positively intersect, and how technology has played a role this past year in strengthening community and educational connections. She noted that companies “have been able to step up and provide technology and resources to support students and STEM education and career opportunities,” and encourages people to run for and participate in educational leadership roles, such as our local school boards.
